V-Ray Benchmark is a free standalone application to help you test how fast your hardware renders. The benchmark includes two test scenes: one for the app and another for V-Ray GPU, depending on the rendering engine you’re looking to measure.
With V-Ray Benchmark, you can quickly and easily evaluate your machine's performance capabilities running V-Ray Next. Discover how your computer ranks alongside others and learn how different hardware can influence your rendering speed. With this tool, you can test the power and performance of your system and push components to their limits. Features and Highlights V-Ray Next performance Test your hardware with the performance of the app Next. New test scenes Created for the tool Next and designed to put even the most powerful hardware to the test. New results system With the new smart scoring system, hardware performance capabilities are easily comparable. The linear scoring results system makes comparisons easier; for example, a processor which is twice as good should have double the score. V-Ray GPU Next hybrid rendering Compare the results of GPUs, CPUs or any combination of processing units available. Benchmark GPU devices individually Test one or any combination of GPUs to see how the performance scales. Faster benchmarking Smart score calculation system can benchmark hardware performance from just one-minute of rendering. New user interface Easy-to-use interface, reflecting all new functionalities. Just launch the application and run the tests. Once your tests are complete, you can share the results online and see how your hardware compares to others at benchmark.chaosgroup.com. It’s a good idea to note any special hardware modifications you’ve made, like water cooling or overclocking. To get started, log in to your Chaos Group account and download the app Next Benchmark application. V Ray Next Benchmark does not require a VRay license to run.
This is not a bad blog, although you should have used the research process to extend your knowledge rather than just replaying a very narrow view on a process.

Where you could have done better in my opinion
1. You do not need to exclusively use application servers to increase the throughput of the export/import process – any server will do, as long as it has the database client on it and a disk area capable of taking the export files or importing the files from.
May 30, 2017 This is a very useful piece of software, thank you for your hard work IRobot! Just a bit of information for those who might find it useful. I don't have a spare monitor but I do have an old laptop which I use as a second display for VIS. It will only give the temp of wherever you put it. It does give the high & the low temp reading within a 24 hour period too. This thermometer has a suction cup to use on a window, but I found it did not hold very well as one of my thermometers fell off & broke. Apr 16, 2018 Earth System Monitor. 2. You talk about Oracle only, there are several other database choices, MS SQL server, IBM DB2, Sybase ASE – but you do not mention these even though their architectures are not dissimilar to Oracle. This would be a much better blog if you did some more research and applied your good Oracle learnings to those databases.
3. Your CPU calculations are a little high for my liking and you need to differentiate between CPUs and Cores. My preference is 2.5 R3Load processes per core on Export and 3 R3Load processes per core on Import (but only on Sorted Exports). On Unsorted loads then you can reverse this calculation as the Import is heavier than the export.
4. Diagrams are very useful for explaining concepts quickly, if you want examples, please have a look at my blog series on CUUC
